Archetypal Provencal property in the Haut Var

Found in the hinterland of the Var, close to the villages of Lorgues, Flagosc and Cotignan, this small domain portrays a Provençal postcard-image. The property is located in a small valley, at 1h30 from Marseille and 25km from motorway exits. Covering 13ha in total, the domain farms 6.5ha of vines, 1.5ha of which through a tenancy agreement.

Flanked by a small river, the surrounding landscape lends undeniable charm to the Domain. In a dominant position, the buildings look down over the riverbanks and offer beautiful views of the terraced vineyards and olive groves to the West. Terraced olive trees also encircle the house and enhance the buildings.

The 160m² house is particularly welcoming and looks out over a private garden with swimming pool to the back. The living area could be increased to 200m² with the conversion of the outbuildings.

In addition to the main house are two 60m² independent apartments which, built facing away from the main house, allow the house to retain its privacy.

The winery extends along from the main house. With a total capacity of 50hl in stainless steel tanks, it is well-equipped (pneumatic press, temperature control, crusher-destemmer…) and enables vinification in excellent conditions. The small but congenial tasting room/shop looks out on to the car park in front of the winery.

With a total surface of 13h, the domain farms 6.5ha of vines, 1.5ha of which are worked through a tenancy agreement.

The vineyards have been organically farmed for many years. They are well maintained and fully trellised with the exception of a plot of old vines that are “Gobelet” pruned. Of the 6.5ha, 4.5ha are classed AOP Côtes de Provence and 2ha in IGP.

The property produces top quality, fruit-driven wines across the range of white, rosé and red.
