This property of 23 contiguous ha is located on the threshold of Avignon in the Côtes du Rhône Villages Gadagne appellation. The estate is easily accessed by motorway with the A7 exit just 10 mins away and by TGV with the Avignon train station 20 mins away.

The housing and farm buildings are grouped together at the heart of the vineyard in an imposing position, enjoying far-reaching views over the town of Avignon. The main house was recently built and offers 180 m² of living space with 2 living rooms and 3 bedrooms.

Leading on from the house, two hangars provide excellent storage conditions for the farm machinery. The farm buildings include a small office with tasting room/shop.

The estate has no winery. Harvest is currently vinified by contract winemakers.

The farm equipment is in excellent condition and is regularly renewed. It is perfectly adapted to organic farming methods.

Characteristics of the vineyard

The 23 ha property includes 21 ha of vineyard classed entirely in AOP Côtes du Rhône Villages Gadagne. Perched high on a plateau of rolled pebbles, comparable to the soil found in Châteauneuf du Pape, this small appellation of just 250 ha is the closest geographically to the papal city of all the southern-Rhône Valley vineyards.

The vineyard has been certified “organic” for several years. It is very well maintained and the varietals planted correspond to the requirements of the appellation. Average annual yields are around 40 to 45 hl/ha.

The majority of production is currently sold in bulk to local wholesalers. A small part is sold on site in the estate shop. The wine is of an excellent standard and regularly wins awards in national competitions.
